Goth band patches? This is my goth vest (front and back) and I’ve been searching everywhere for more black and white goth patches, including Bandcamp, websites, Etsy, eBay etc. Does anyone know of any bands that are currently selling patches that would go nicely on my vest? I’m trying to fill it up.

Has this happened to anyone else?

To put it in to view first I always have my hair teased so I assume that is why there was attention brought to it. I was in a thrift store with a friend and just as we were exiting she realized she forgot something so she went back to get it, I ended up waiting just by the shopping carts so I can keep an eye out for her. I started to pull my phone out to check the time when this lady, (possibly in her 30s-40s) comes out of no where and starts to touch my hair, before I could say anything she made a statement about how she thought it would be fluffy and she walked off, I think I stood there for maybe 5 minutes just stunned, I have had my fair share of having people touch my hair or clothes without asking but that was just weird, so now I'm curious, has any other goths experienced this?

Has anyone heard of this band before?

Was scrolling through YouTube and came across this band from the French goth scene in the eighties. They were called "Neva", with their songs falling into the death rock and electronic sound. Does anyone know anything about this bands members/history? Or their relation the the eighties scene? Below is the clip I found: https://youtu.be/Ug-4jRqt8jA

Does anyone else get annoyed when people say they’re “goth” but have no clue about anything goth?

anyone have some gothic-britpop recommendations?

weird question, but I need something like that RN. For reference, something like “Death Of A Party” by Blur. Just anything vaguely doom-y and anything that gives off the vibes of the cure. Except, a little aggressively European. Dunno if this is allowed but yea.

Does anyone know anything about this band?

I was browsing spotify these days and found out about this band named vampire beach babes. I really like their tunes, but they only have one album with 7 songs on spotify and youtube. I searched for more info on them, found their website, wikipedia page and some random blog posts recomending their music and i really wanted to listen to their other albums or just know if they're like, nice people yaknow (saw an old reddit post saying that the lead singer is kinda weird but nothing too absurd). Also if anyone have any bands that have similar sound to recommend would be great. Btw I'm a baby bat if u couldn't tell lol.

Does anyone recognize this album?

to start, sorry, i only have a very vague description of the album cover (not even the name or band) from my dad, but haven't been able to find anything on google. (also this is a band that HE CONSIDERED to be goth, so not sure how accurate that'll be)

a picture of a cat crucified on the cross. he says that it looked more like a photograph than art, and also that the cat may have been burned or somewhat decomposed. this album should've been around in the 80s. so, with that, anyone recognize it?

Anyone else not “look goth” and feel like they don’t belong?

I (M) have identified as goth most of my life, but I struggle with feeling like I don't belong because I don't dress like a stereotypical "goth".

Although I do wear a decent amount of black (which I LOVE), it's generally not very "alternative" style.

I don't have tattoos, and no piercings, etc. (though in my heart I do)

Many days I look and dress like a typical person. Like, most days if someone saw me they would never guess I was goth. I know lots of people who identify as goth could say the same, but still.

I DO however have dark, witchy, goth decor in my apartment, and I'm a regular at my city's local goth club (the one place I do dress in an outwardly goth style).

But I still feel like an imposter sometimes. Do others struggle with that? I know this might all sound superficial, maybe it's just in my head. Other perspectives might help me. Thanks!

Does anyone else have issues differentiating between genres just from hearing them? A lot of the slow, dark music like goth subgenres or post punk kinda blend together sometimes.

It could be a product of my ADHD or just that I have little knowledge about certain things. I've been a part of the goth culture for quite a while, and sometimes in frustrates me to be unable to easily deduce between what's what.
